Great idea-I wanted to share some ideas post birth if that's ok? Just felt like I was so focused on the birth and hadn't thought about my wellbeing in these first few days afterwards:

-I didn't get fed well in hospital/birthing unit. I was exhausted and my body is trying to start producing milk-all quite hard going if you've not eaten well. Can anyone bring food up/can you take some large snacks?

-You are likely to have a sore vagina/bottom! This made sitting up to do things like feeding baby, eating etc really tough. Do you have a cushion you could take in-something like a neck support you use on a plane to help relieve some soreness?? Also buy yourself some soft pads-I didn't feel the bleeding was as bad as I would have predicted but large thick pads were more uncomfortable than Always-style thinner ones.

-Family/friends: From our experience people really want to ask questions about birth/baby etc and expect replies. We had a grandma calling every hour during our labour and friends reported spending their evening pacing the floor. I don't know if there is an answer but perhaps setting up a whatsapp group or having a central contact that you do send regular updates to might be helpful.

I don't know if any of this will apply to anyone else as we all have a different journey but I hope it is of some help...
