It may... but most commonly you hear the opposite.

It decreased mine I was on it for 15 and when I got off it I immediately got surges (usually around ovulation). It was nice - for that alone I said I will never go on birth control again.

It didn't change my sex drive. The positives were clear skin, decreased PMS, decreased mood swings, decreased cramps, decrease in how heavy my flow was, and perfectly predictable cycles. The *only* negative that I've noticed now that I'm off the pill is I was more dry on the pill. It's not that noticeable though because I need lube regardless. If we weren't TTC I'd be taking the pill because it helps me so much.
