Do you go to a dr while trying to get pregnant?

Idk if I should start seeing a dr to talk about TTC? I'm 12 days late now no bfn and maybe I should go just to see what they have to say?

I went and visited with my doc about going off the pill and starting to TTC. I like to go into new experiences with good solid information! But that is just me personally. You don't have to go in for a prenatal planning appointment that's up to the individual. Good luck!

I have a gyno friend and she says you really don't need to go to a dr unless you've been trying for almost a year and nothing happens.

I'm going to go. My cycles aren't normal when they usually are and that's concerning to me. Plus if anything happens while trying or during. At least I'll have a dr. To see

It depends on how long you've been trying and how supportive your doctor is. I was going to a doctor who would not do any tests until we'd been trying for a year. It may be a waste of time if you go too early. Most  doctors won't do much unless you've been actively trying for 6-12 months.
