So I got married about 3 weeks ago. To say my now mother in law made my life difficult before we got married would be an understatement. Now that we're married, I haven't been around her a single time when she doesn't start balling her eyes out over seriously nothing. She cries all the time, but it's beyond excessive now. I married her oldest, but not her only, son and we dated for years before we got married. I've tried to have a good relationship with her, but she's so needy and emotional and I'm super independent and unemotional. She freaks out over everything and nothing and I just kind of go with the flow. Can any of you ladies relate? What did you do to try and improve your relationship with your mother in law? I feel like I've tried everything and all I've gotten in return is hate mail and tears...
