Halloween themed baby shower?

I'm having my baby shower in October, and I just love Halloween cupcakes for some reason they seem to taste better haha, but I want a Halloween shower for some reason. Is that odd? The gender will be revealed at the party with a cake so I'm not going with gender themed lol. I'm not having it on Halloween of course but it will be near it.

I had a Halloween theme for my last baby. It was really fun used dry ice in the drinks and had Halloween game theme and decorations.
