Anybody thought they had a period and found out they were pregnant??

I thought I had just had a period but then started having "flu like" symptoms. Took a test and was 6 and a half weeks. I was very young and my boyfriend at the time forced me to have an abortion,  took me to Planned Parenthood and made up some story and then they wouldn't believe me. Needless to say after 3 more years of abuse I finally got away from him although he did follow me. Now my husband and I have been TTC for 5 months. I really hope that the abortion didn't make it to where I could have a child of my own. Its been 10 years since it happened.

I have talked to a few diff. People here on this app that have had periods or bleeding and thought they were out and ended up being positive.  Also my grandma had her period every time she was pregnant (4 Times) for the first couple months of each pregnancy. It is possible.

I did. Just this month! How ever my dr is unsure I'll get to stay pregnant. My bleeding hadn't really stopped. 20 days now...hoping for a miracle! But a lot of women do bleed enough at the right time to assume it's a period but are pregnant.

A friend of mine thought she was having her period, for weeks later she gave birth to a 9 pound baby. It is possible!
