This may come across as a complaint, it's more that I need to get this off my chest. Yes, I knew he was in the army before we got together. Yes, I knew that he'd be sent away a lot but that doesn't make it any easier.

We've been ttc for almost a year, we've had 1 pregnancy which ended in miscarriage which turned septic landing me in hospital. 4 months on and we haven't gotten pregnant yet.

Tomorrow he is going away for work, we won't even be allowed phone contact for two months. I'm really sad about not being able to even talk to him and also now sad about the two cycles we'll miss.

Anyone else's SO in defence or similar? How do you handle them being sent away?
