Greta Marie arrived today! I had to be induced last night at 8:30 due to high blood pressure at 38w3d, and ended up getting an epidural around 9 am because labor was simply not progressing past 2 despite the intensity of the contractions increasing. It was a good thing, though, because at the exact moment they administered the epidural, my water broke, and then everything started moving fast. I began to push at 12:30, had to stop for 10 minutes to wait for the doctor, and then 3 contractions later she was here at 1:19 pm.  Not the way I planned at all, but perfect for what our situation was. We are completely smitten with our 7lb4oz darling.
