He usually gets home an hour before I do. I ask that the house be somewhat picked up so I don't walk into a dirty house. Not an unreasonable request in my opinion. He never has it picked up and it almost immediately puts me in a bad mood when I walk in the door after driving in traffic for an hour. We have sat down and talked about a solution. I've explained to him why it makes me upset, how it makes me feel, etc. So, our solution was to make a chore list for each part of the house, each with 6 chores that we would trade off each month. The problem here is that he isn't doing his 2 sections and I always end up doing ALL the work anyway because he doesn't and I hate living in filth! How do I fix this?! All I'm asking is for a little help to keep our home clean but he could care less if it's clean or dirty!
