Pregnancy announcement (to husband) after miscarriage? Suggestions?

I got my husband a "Commando Dad" guide in December when I found out I was pregnant. He was so excited. He read parts of it and then the pregnancy didn't seem to be progressing right. Sadly, it ended in miscarriage, so now I don't know if I should do anything special the next time around (for fear that it may end again) or just tell him since he already has the book I planned on.

Same thing happened to me and my husband. Had an ectopic in january. I got him a ice hockey bear and used my pregnancy test as the hockey stick. He knows if he sees it again it's game on...again :) I got him a few other things too. I might grab a father's day card and hold onto it till the time comes. Something else small couldn't hurt just to announce again :) good luck and baby dust!

I'm in the same, yet opposite boat, lol. Hubby was the one that first thought I was pregnant, so no real surprise when it was confirmed. We ended up losing baby, and have been trying 8 months with no luck. So I keep wondering if, when the time comes, if I should try to do something special, or just be like, "hey, guess what" :)
