When is the best time to start baby shopping?

I collect stuff as I go, if we see something cute somewhere we get it. Amazon is a good remedy, you can shop and create your baby registry the same time without spending money :)

I figured we would wait until our first ultrasound/end of first trimester to get the big items and get the rest once we know the sex!

I did my shopping the last month just because when people found out I was PG I got a lot of hand me downs and stuff so I waited so I wouldn't have double

I was 5 weeks Lol not a lot of stuff but it was going into summer so winter clothes jackets and such I bought gender neutral bought some diapers and wipes everyone kept telling me not to but I did anyway

I'm not saying this to make you worried or upset but I would wait till the first trimester is over! I got stuff like a bath. And a bassinet. Then I had a miscarriage and having all that stuff made me so upset. Do what you think is best. Next time I get pregnant I'm going to get a pack of diapers every other week in different sizes after my first trimester.

We already have a registry for Target. We start buying a pack a diapers in different sizes every paycheck. I know miscarriage is high right now. I am only 5 weeks. It's really up to you. I'm hoping for a healthy full term baby, but even if we lose the baby the items can be donated to a shelter or taken back or kept for your next miracle.  I will say this pregnancy has be beyond scared and it isn't like my other two at all so I'm a little more reluctant to shop.
