California labor laws help????

If anyone could help me I would greatly appreciate it I keep gettingthe  run around from everyone I call! 
March 17 my OB recommended light duty at work because I was over worked and kept ending up in the ER due to dehydration and exhaustion from work. My boss and managers didn't care and also didn't support my gestational diabetes struggle. Anyways my boss would not accommodate light duty so my OB put me out for disibility due to my gestational diabetes. I was set to take maternity leave may 15-oct 1. Well now my boss is writing me saying my
Maternity leave is over on July 17. My due date is june 6. 
Does anyone know if being put out on disibility for diabetes counts against my maternity leave? When I call labor board they send me to disability who then sends me to equal housing because I'm pregnant. And they send me back to labor laws. I'm so confused. I didn't plan on staying at the job very long IF I even went back because of the way they treated me but not having a job to go back to has me worried. Any help would be appreciated like I said. I'm stressing big time.
