Mini pill

I had a bad reaction to the regular pill but a great experience on the shot. I'm thinking about asking my Dr about getting put on the mini pill. I'm contributing the bad experience to the estrogen in the pills. I'm 21 and healthy with no past pregnancies. I know the risks of pregnancy with this pill and I'm ok with it. Would a doctor hesitate prescribing it to me? Also what's your experience with taking it?
