When you leave the house, what you're wearing says a lot about you. It says how you feel about yourself, how you view yourself, how you want others to think of you, and how much you want others to look at you.

I'm not saying everyone has to be prim and proper looking all the time - I'll go to the store in jeans and my mans dirty t-shirt. But how you look effects the way you feel.

Dress to make yourself happy, and you will be :)

Clothing is one of the visual cues that we take as a people. We don't like to think about it but it's true. I think fashion is important culturally, and individually. Even in African tribes they have their own fashion and ways of dressing. As individuals, I think it should even be considered a right to practice your individual and unique fashion.

fashion is one of the most overlooked industries. people see money, fabric, celebrities, models, devil wears prada, instead of looking at it as an art form, or career. its imperative to culture, religion and society. fashion is not frivolous, it lets us look into the mindsets of different generations. fashion is not a representation of a materialistic society as people are led to believe, its a conscious decision people make every day.

As a teen it absolutely was,now I'm my late twenties i don't really care, I do love shopping and buying cute clothes but having really nice,expensive stuff doesn't matter anymore I changed a lot I'm more casual now,I let go of my girly,cutesy clothes when I turned twenty
