Price of college - aesthetic edition

There is numerous colleges (especially universities) that charge more entry based on how "pretty" the campus grounds are. Does this matter to you? Note that I'm not talking about security or necessary grounds keeping or indoor/outdoor upkeep, I'm referring to flower beds/fountains/architectural pleasure/so on.

Bonus question: what can we do to change this if you feel it's unfair?
