What's the best age to start potty training?

I been babysitting sence i was 13 and im 24 now so i have alot of experience with kids and out of all the kids ive watched ive seen different parents start potty training at different times and my niece was 18 mos and didn't want no more diapers and never had a accident and i babysit a lil girl now whos 23 mos and shes still in dipers and her mom aint even trying yet and my friends lil girl whos the same age there starting her potty training

My daughter is 2 1/2 and still has no interest in potty training. Her oldest cousin was potty trained at 16 months. Every kid is different, and I'm not about to force the issue, especially since we'll be moving soon. I really don't want to potty train twice if she regresses because of the move.

Every child is different. You just have to look for signs of readiness. All 3 of my girls were fully trained before the age of 2. My son was almost 4.

Every child is different my oldest was past 2 and it was pretty hard to get her to stop using diapers but she still needed them at night until almost 4 my second right at two didn't want diapers anymore at night or day and she been staying dry for both every since and my 3rd just turned 1 so not sure about her yet.

As a Child Development major I can tell you that others are 100% correct, every child is different! You can't force it until they show signs of being ready otherwise it's a frustrating disaster! Girls tend to be ready before boys but not always, it's all about just figuring out your child's own rhythm.

My daughter regressed after we started at 2. Then she was fully potty trained by almost 3. My son is almost 2.....he hates the idea of going to the potty. HATES IT. Every child is different. And pushing it....not the best idea. Believe me lol

We waited until 3 yrs ea child. It's a personal parental choice , our kids had no issues and it happened very fast. They were ready, we didn't force it. Some kids are ready earlier, some parents force it early and it becomes a drawn out process. If you as a parent feel it's best , it's the parents choice, not anyone else's

My first was 2 my  2nd was 3 1/2 my 3 rd 2 1/2 my last my only son he is 2 1/2 he won't have anything to do with it he says he likes his pampers I asked him if he was a baby or a big boy he says I'm a baby but all I can do is introduce him to the potty and hope for the best

I messed up, I should have started with my oldest son at 12 months, but my youngest son will go to the bathroom when you tell him and he is 21 months my oldest son will be3 next month and he's getting the hang of it, he doesn't go sometimes because he wants to play but now he knows he has to go and he will go I'm so proud of him
