Is 30 weeks too early for a baby shower?

So I was asked when I would prefer my shower and I'm thinking the last week of June. Reason being, if I want to return anything or exchange etc, I can do it on 4th of July weekend when everything will be on sale. (Also in my fam lots of ppl just being cash so I can buy what I need while on sale) only issue is I will be 30 weeks at that time. Do you guys think that's embarrassingly early for a shower or it's pretty normal?

A lot of people have early showers, you get your gifts and it gives you time to figure out what you still need or if you do need to exchange anything it gives you time for that my friend is planning mine for around 28-30 weeks :)) I'm super excited!!!!

28-30 weeks is perfect. I had mine on Sunday at 32 weeks and am very appreciative, but was 100% exhausted and overwhelmed. I wish my family had planned it a few weeks earlier.

Absolutely not! My friend had her shower in the middle of November and she was due middle of December.

I live in a different state than all of my family. We live where my hubby's family is from. I will probably have 2 showers, one in each location. I believe my mom and sister plan to have the one out of state relatively early so I'm not traveling away from my doctor too close to my due date.

I had two with my first baby, one at 30 weeks locally, and the other out of state with all my family at 33 weeks. I wished we would have done that one sooner. The traveling was hard on me and I ended up going into preterm labor. Thankfully got it stopped and held her in for 3 more weeks

I'm having mine this weekend, and I'll be 30 weeks. One of my main reasons was I'm due August 18th, and I didn't want to be in a room full of people in the middle of summer dying of heat, I feel as though doing it at 30 weeks I will be able to enjoy my shower instead of being super uncomfortable.
