Yes. You need to wash them as you don't know who's handled them, how they were transported, what harsh chemicals/dyes they've used.

I've washed all baby's towels, blankets and first size clothes. I'll do the bigger sizes and things once I start my maternity leave-hopefully the weather will stay nice so I can dry them outside too! I've just used non-biological washing liquid and washed on 60degrees wash (washing at high temp kills germs). I've also started to sleep with the baby blankets so they smell like me-for when I put baby down to sleep so it comforts them.

I'm returning what I have too much of but washing what I think I can use. Definitely washing sheets, bedding and blankets. I also sterilize bottles as soon as I get them.

Yes, wash everything! I haven't started washing anything of mine yet (due in January) but will when it gets closer and nursery is more set up. I use organic detergents because I'm allergic to anything else.

Yes! Always wash new clothes because you never know who has touched them. I use Babyganics detergent from Babies R Us, I really like it and it's natural.
