IVF - I need your experiences PLEASE!!
I posted a similar thread into another room thingy, but didn't get any responses and this is something I really need to get advised on, so anything you know/have been through would be a great help.
Basically, my fertility clinic have thrown in the possibility that I could have IVF instead of IUI, due to it being a similar cost of IUI because when they collect my eggs, half of them will go as a donation to other women. So now that IVF is a possibility, I need to know more. Obviously I Googled it first, but they put in a lot of big words and I have no idea about what they mean, lol.
When they collect your eggs, will I be asleep?? Or will I be awake? I'm a bit worried about the fact that it'll be painful, lol!! What happens during the procedure? And what are the success rates? As I said previously, any knowledge or experiences you have with IVF will be greatly appreciated because I need to know these things, ha! I can't get an appointment yet as I have training with a new job (different department within my company) and I can't have any time off....
