How many IVFs, ICSI, IUIs are you willing to do?!

Question

I cannot get pregnant a natural way so we are contemplating how many IVFs we are willing to do. Please feel free to post if you got pregnant or not as well as any other help for decision-making.

Even if you have a plan you may change your mind along the way.  We planned on 3 IUIs before moving to IVF, but I took our first failed IUI pretty hard and decided I was tired wasting time and went straight to IVF (which worked).  The percentages for successful IUIs are pretty low and since we were also battling low count I couldn't justify spending more time and money (2k per cycle, yikes) on such low percentages so we put the money towards IVF instead.

3 iui and 1 ivf..because of money.

We can't afford IVF or I would totally want to do them. If I had the money I'd pay for the shared risk program for IVF 6 tries no baby and your money back. And less expensive than paying for one at a time. We did 1 IUI and I had a chemical preg. We decided after my heart was broke over finding out it didn't stick to do 3 more IUI and then give up. That being said 3 IUI for me could end up being a year of medicated cycles depending on how often I Ovulate on my right side. Or 3 months if I get lucky and o on my right every month.

I *might* do one IVF. That shizz is expensive and I'm not going broke to have a baby. If that IVF round doesn't take, fine. I'll get a dog. I like dogs better than most kids anyway, lol.
