Home birth vs hospital birth?

I live in Australia and I'm currently ttc  baby number 2, I had a hospital birth with my first and loved  it, I am contemplating a home birth for my second but was hoping to get some advice and stories on what people think is better, and their experiences :)

It's worth looking into and finding out what support you'd get from midwives etc at home. Speak to your midwife next time you see her/him and see what they say. I was considering it but have to have a section. I just felt that I'd feel more comfortable in my own surroundings.the more relaxed you are the smoother the labour in general. You're more likely to have interventions like assisted delivery if you are in hospital, which I didn't want. If your first birth went smoothly it's more than likely this will too. Read up on it and see if you can speak to people who've had home births in your area.
