I'm having baby issues....

So me and the SO are trying for baby number two, but our 2 1/2 y.o. will not sleep in her room at night. She constantly crawls into bed with my husband and I. Giving us absolutely no time to TTC. Is there any advice on how to get her to stay in her room? I talked to my boss who has a daughter the same age and he told me I should just let her cry it out. I absolutely can't just let her cry, it breaks my heart hearing her cry.
