Anyone here have an iud?

Question

I recently got the copper iud. And today we had sex without a condom, and he pulled out. Any chance of getting pregnant? 
Also, if you have an iud in, what are your thoughts on it?

I loved my paragaurd as soon as I have this child I will be getting it again.

The copper iud is effective immediately. It can also be used as emergency contraception if insert 5 days after intercourse. As long as your doctor inserted correctly you should be fine. I currently have an iud. It's too early for me to tell if I like it or not. The only other birth control methods I have tried are condoms and the pill. I'm considering getting my tubes tied as i am done having children.

So I had the iud in for awhile and we had set 3-4times a week and I didn't get pregnant.  The older iuds were terrible my mother in law had 2 kids on them but the new iuds are pretty safe in my opinion
