Seriously, how many alcohol posts are there going to be this week? What is with everyone not being able to go 9 months without a drink? Think of your baby! It does not need alcohol and neither do you so please don't take the risk. Sorry to sound short tempered, but this has been circulating a lot this week.

If you really want to know what's safe, ask your doc. Strangers on the Internet are not qualified to have input on the health of you and your baby.

Why risk it? Yes, some so called professionals claim that a glass of wine here or there throughout the latter half of pregnancy can do no harm and is supposedly beneficial. However, why would you risk it? Because there is no "safe amount". Why bother. Surely 9 months without alcohol is the least someone can do for their unborn child.

I have a SIP of my husband's beer or wine every once in a while.
I wouldn't recommend glasses or half glasses.
