Breastfeeding only ?

Question

I'm planning on solely breastfeeding. Only going to use a pump if I have a blocked duct or emergency.
Anyone else plan on breast feeding only??
My boyfriend doesn't agree with me breastfeeding in public, he stated I can take the baby to a washroom to feed. Which I think is not okay... I'm far from home and family. I'm hoping I can fulfill my breastfeeding goals with little support.

I've exclusively breast-fed four kids already, my most recent child up to 28 months. Definitely planning on breast-feeding number five exclusively as well :-)

I nurse exclusively and I will feed anywhere. 😊 Babies get hungry too and we still have to maintain a somewhat normal schedule. I can't be bothered with running home to feed babe and missing things!

DD #1 nursed until she was about 20 months and my milk dried up during pregnancy. I was SO sad.

DS #2 nursed until he was almost 2.5 and I started this pregnancy. He will probably want to nurse once my milk comes in as he still latches but my milk is dried up.

And I hope to breast feed this baby just as long! 😊

I'm planning on breastfeeding whenever I have the baby with me.  I do work nights and my wife is home with her then so I'll use a pump to express milk for night time feedings.  I know a lot of people are against feeding in public and my close female friends have shared that this would make them uncomfortable.  I told them that nurturing and bonding with my baby is natural and I won't increase the stigma of breastfeeding by hiding.  Fortunately my wife is extremely supportive.

Ew, a bathroom is not a place to breastfeed! Stick to your goal of breastfeeding and eventually he will see how impractical that suggestion is. :)

I nursed DD1 for 15 months. She refused the bottle, but I was a SAHM so it wasn't that big of a deal. I will have to pump while at work but other than that DD2 will just get the boob. I bet your DH will get over the nursing in public thing quick. Baby will be hungry often and it's not always convenient to go to the car or stay home. I personally would refuse to nude baby in a restroom.. Just kind of yucky.

I'm planning on breast feeding also but using the pump to help my milk come in and probably later on to feed the baby so my hubby can experience feeding the baby. That's sad that ur man doesn't want u breastfeeding in public, hey as long as u cover ur breast while doing it that's my opinion on that, my hubby doesn't mind that I will breastfeed in public (with a cover up). Keep ur head up and don't get discouraged!
