How accurate is a sonogram ?

Are sonograms / ultrasounds always accurate ? I know the day I ovulated and I feel as if my baby is a week less . They told me the baby is 11 weeks last week 6/1/15. When I know the baby is 10 weeks and 3 days.

Yup, in the same boat! I know I'm a week behind than what they're saying I am. Reason I'm frustrated? It gives me one week LESS on their clock if I go past 40 weeks and that means they'll want to unfortunately intervene. To them I'm 37 weeks 4 days, by my ovulation date I'm be 37 weeks today and by lmp 37 weeks this Tuesday. They've got a rude awakening coming if they start talking about induction because I'll tell them like I said in the beginning the dates are off and nooooobody would listen.

They do it based on size early on which is frustrating especially if you know when you ovulated. I'm only a few days off on my ovulation edd to scan edd but it is annoying! X

Actually, nearly 13% of women ovulate twice during their cycle. So that could be a reason :)

Sometimes your baby can measure big.  My baby is measuring 5 days bigger. So I'm 14w5d and my baby is measuring 15w3d.  Some babies are just bigger then others.
