What tests/scans now?

I know I sound really stupid but this is my 1st. 
I'm going to see doctor Tuesday then what?
When is my first scan?
When does anything else happen?

At your first appointment, you'll pee in a cup, you'll have blood drawn which they will use to test for STDs, and they will probably do a pap smear. Your doc will ask if you're taking prenatal vitamins and if you have any questions.  He or she will tell you when to schedule your first scan based on your last menstrual period.

First scan will likely be somewhere between 6 and 12 weeks. This is the dating scan.

You can opt for the nucal translucency scan at 14 to 16 weeks. This is to check for markers of various disorders.

Anatomy scan is around 20 weeks. If you weren't told the sex of the baby yet, you'll find out now, if you want.

More scans than this are for high risk or to just check on things.
