Opinions please...

So my SO generally is awesome and yes we argue sometimes, we've been together for almost 2 years, and just most the time he makes me happy he works 12 hour shifts everyday and gets two days off. He usually comes to spend the night with me and all those nights but tonight he's here but instead of spending the night tomorrow he's going home and I feel very upset what should I do. I don't want to start an argument and make him think I'm too needy...
