Your cloth diaper experience?? Did you do it?

I've been considering it, but would love to hear from the people who lived it :)

I've heard some people just ziploc the dirty cloth diapers and wait until they get home to save money.

My mum insisted we use cloth with my first. I had a c-section and was living at home with my first so I didn't have to do any of the washing for the first 2 months. We did use disposable nappies when we went out though, as carrying a dirty cloth nappy for the day is just no fun.

I won't be using them this time but didn't have any real drama with them.

Started first around a year old out of desperation since all disposables were giving him chemical burns and literally blistering his skin off. Doing it again with number 2 because I have all the stuff, they are adorable, and why not?
