Garlic for yeast and BV??

Do anyone have any success story of using garlic inserted in the vagina for yeast and BV infection..?does it really work?

I had my 1st yeast infection last year and I believe in home remedies. I put garlic up there and it burned like hell lol. But I followed behind it with plain yogurt and it went away. I did it before bed and slept with a pad on to catch the yogurt coming out. I washed really good that morning and was fine. I haven't had one since.

In my personal opinion I would scared to do that.. It's not like the medicine that dissolves..
