Used Baby Gear

When I told my mom I was pregnant (it's our first) she was so excited and said she wanted to be the one to buy the stroller, pick out what we want and she will get it.  I told her we were leaning towards a BOB and would wait for one to go on sale and use up my points for an Amazon gift card to help with the cost.  My cousin was having a rummage and my mom bought her used BOB.  I felt terrible feeling this way, but I was disappointed.  I have gotten all used things so far at rummages, but there were three items we wanted to get brand new for our first baby.  A jumper, a car seat and a stroller. Now my cousin is upset with me saying she would have given it to someone that would have appreciated it more and she doesn't understand why I would want a new one.  My mom completely understood and said we could leave it there so we don't have to pack up ours when we come over.  I still feel terrible for not jumping up and down and being crazy excited about it.  Any thoughts?
