Weird periods

I got off of birth control in December, why on birth control I had a period every month. Since getting off of it in December I have only had a period twice. One in Febuary and one in April. I have gone to the gyno because I had a yeast infection and an infection. I brought up my periods and she didn't seem to care. I thought I was getting my period last week because every time me and my husband would have sex it was be a little bloody but never any spotting or anything. We have been trying since Febuary. But now I'm confused on what could be wrong. I was reading about pcos and the only thing I have is missed periods. I'm just confused about everything.
