First few days bringing baby boy home he was so gassy and crying these high pitched crazy cries that you could just tell he was in pain. If he wasn't eating or sleeping he was in hysterics. I thought he might of been collic. But after using gripe water it's like he's a whole new baby. I would recommend this to anyone!

Be careful sometimes babies can choke if drops are not given the right way. We had a scare with our LO and after doing some research online it seems to happen to a lot of parents. It seemed to help but wasn't worth the risk, I changed my diet instead.

I don't have the problem of a extremely fussy baby from gas. So never had to use gripe water.

We've tried it. Doesn't seem to make much of a difference. Switching from emfimil newborn to their gentle one did wonders

The trick to gas drops is to give them as a preventative instead of waiting for signs of gas pain. We give our 4 month old a dose every morning and every night and it helps a ton. You can use them as needed during the day but we rarely need to.

My two week old son does not like the taste but they do work wonders! Once we got home from the hospital, he was crying and making facial expressions you could tell he was in pain. We gave him gas drops and it was like we had our happy baby back! My lactation consolatant said what I eat makes no difference on how gassy he may or may not get - that that's a total wives tale.

I feel like they work but you can't only rely on those I have done a combination of things to make sure my son isn't gassy and it took trial and error to figure it out

Gas drops combined with gripe water

Bottle of hot water drop a soft peppermint in it. Give it warm, max 2 oz a day with most restricted flow nipples. I can watch my daughter's stomach go from rock hard to soft
