Trying not to waste money on tests

Because I'm so late on AF I don't want to waste any more money on HPTS. I've skipped 2 periods  and all my HPTS have been negative. So I'm pretty sure I'm not pregnant but I can't help but keep testing. And yes I have an appointment to see the dr. It was supposed to be yesterday but they rescheduled AFTER I showed up for my appointment. I couldn't help but cry because all I want is answers.
