Should we be trying for another baby if I already have a 6 month old?

I had my second baby November 25 2014. Is it too soon to try for another? I've heard my body needs a year to heal before getting pregnant again. But I had such a smooth delivery and recovery. I feel great. Just afraid it's too soon and may miscarry. Any thoughts?

I was pregnant when my daughter was three months old. They are now 6 and 5. I can't imagine not having them that close together. They always have each other and are eachothers best friend. I don't think its to soon:)

Definitely not. Super challenging not to mention your body isn't fully healed, so it's dangerous.

I think this is a decision only you can make. Waiting may be a good thing but if you are ready then you are ready. If and when I have another I will be trying right after for the third. I have waited too long for the second and I will not take any chances for the third. But as I said I think it is a personal choice. If you and your SO are ready then go for it!!!:) Good luck in whatever you choose!

If you feel like you are ready then go for it. If you are breastfeeding it could take awhile to get pregnant.  Or no time at all. But I would always ask a doctor. You know your body better than one.

We tried for our second when #1 was 4m old. They are 13m apart and we love the age difference. It's been so fun; I wish that #3 could have had the same spacing with #4, but still working on 4 and that window has well passed :)

We started trying when our son was four months old got pregnant at 9 months they're 17 months apart and best friends! I love having them so close in age.
