I can't get my son to eat?

Sorry i know its a period app and maybe i can't post stuff like this but i don't want him to go another day like this.. 
I can't get him to be still to eat, he would eat normal when he was in his walker but now that he walks he just wants to play and i can give him a piece of chicken and he leaves and later i see it on the floor.. Plus he hides pieces of food around the house for later 😓😒 what are some yummy healthy foods or snacks i can make him so he's good? Or how can i get his full attention so he can eat?

It's normal! My daughter was the same way at that age! I would make her fruit smoothies and juices and sneak veggies in! ☺️ lol

Either a high chair or one of those little chairs with s belt so that they're taught to be seated when they eat. My friends son was taught to do that from a very young age (he's almost 2) and he knows now that he has to sit when he's to be fed. It's kind of teaching him manners as well it's cute

Honestly I wouldn't stress it too much. My son was exactly the same way. When they're hungry they WILL eat even if it's sparatic. My son was always hiding food including many pb and j sandwiches I found in the vcr lol. But when they're that young they don't have an attention span to sit and eat so just give him food throughout the day. If you're really concerned then talk tl your pediatrician about pediasure

My son is the she way but they will eat when there hungry and trust me they'll let you know when there hungry

Toddlers can be so busy they don't want to slow down to eat. A booster seat with a little strap is a wonderful thing!

Just be ready to stuff something in his mouth every few minutes if he can't concentrate to eat. Also have you tried those pre-mashed baby foods that can just be squirted? Like they have the place to put your mouth? He probably could take a squirt of it throughout the day every now and then. Not just for one exclusive squeeze pouch for all his food for the day but it would help.

If you watch him and firmly tell him to chew and swallow and check that he has it should help. My friend has an almost 2 yr old who won't eat. He whines and complains and has tantrums between each bite in his high chair. Her rule for him is that he has to stay in his high chair until he's eaten all his food. It sucks but he does eventually get it all down after 30 or so minutes (even though it's barely 1/3 of a plate of food).
