Annoyed

This is the first month my husband and i tried to conceive. According to Glow im supposed to get my period on the 18th and so i decided to takea first   response test since they claim u can find out as early as 6 days before getting ur period. Anyway took the test and it was negative. Now im feeling a bit disappointed and not sure of what to do. I dont know if i shud just wait until the 18th to see if i actually get my period or not. I dont like to wait and the whole thing of not knowing drives me nuts. Ive spent so much money on these tests already that i just want to know for sure am i or am i not pregnant :(
