Kids act out more when you and SO not getting along?

Do you feel like your kids act out more when you and your spouse/SO are arguing more? My husband and I are arguing a lot lately. We try to shield our child from it, but... Can they sense that something's wrong or am I being more sensitive?

Answer

I think children are very intuned to their parents moods.  They have poor verbal communication skills and so compensate by really paying attention to the non verbal cues.
