Am I doing the right thing?
My gf and I have been dating a little over 6 months now, have discussed getting married once she finishes college and where we both stand on future children. We currently live about 10 hours apart most of the year bc she is at school. We've decided that since I'm a few years older, completely self dependent and financially able to and in a career field that can be done anywhere, I will move to her city, for her remaining 2 years of school. To be close but not live together yet.
However, until recently she seemed to not be as excited as I am for the move. I can't tell if she truly has some unspoken concerns that she just doesn't want to portray to me or if she has been influence by her parents discontent and objection to my moving there? I want to bring it up and discuss with her but am afraid that she will have changed her mind and not want me to move after I have already given notice to my current job and started the apartment process. I know what I want, and I don't want her to change her mind or give in to her parents wishes if they conflict w her own. What to do?
