Braxton hicks

I'm 30 weeks & 6 days pregnant and also a first time mom. Would I know if I were having a Braxton hicks? Or could I have maybe had one and not put much thought into it? My threshold for pain isn't very high so I figured I would notice but would love to hear some feedback from other moms ☺️👶🏼
