When I got my first very very VERY faint test my hcg was only borderline so between 5-25,has to be 25 or more to be classed as positive this was a few days after my missed period too! Now I'm 15 weeks 2 days my babies great & find out what I'm having next week. You may of just ovulated and/or implanted later ☺️ Good luck xx

All that matters is if it is doubling every couple of days. So they should have done a follow up test two days later.
