Help help spotting and I don't get it

So thought I was pregnant last week had a few signs but wasn't trying to read into them. Than last sunday I started spotting, on Monday it was so light I only used a light day pad, than tuesday very little spotting but for the most part nothing. This week I've had upset stomach, diarrhea, and tired Than today almost a week later I stared spotting. Was checking my cervic and had lite pink color and now alittle spotting. Tested on wed after the weird period but it was neg. Anyone have this before?? Anyone know why I could be spotting??? Trying to get into the doc for a blood test but don't want to get my hopes up. Just looking for insight. This will be my first and have no clue really what to expect
