37/38 weeks

Saw my dr today. They are now telling me I'm 37 weeks and next week will be 38 weeks. I was and have been calculating, and according to this app at 36+ weeks. So I'm a little thrown off now and we have an appointment in exactly one week. So if I don't go into labor by then "we will plan what is next" dr said! So last week they were trying to get me to take the steroid shot and this week she's hinting at an induction next week! I'm feeling a little overwhelmed and the biggest issue is we are still preparing our new place so I'm feeling unprepared and like I can't let myself go into labor if that makes any sense? 😣
