Nexplanon
I've been on this birth control for about 3 months now and have had a few side effects. I just want to see if anyone else has had these side effects and if you have any advice.
I've had large mood swings. I go from being happy to being completely depressed for no reason.
My first period on it was very heavy, long, and painful. My second period was normal. And my third period has not come yet. It came a week late.
I had a large breakout of acne in the middle of my forehead that has not gone away after 2 weeks. And I also started breaking out in the chin and neck area.
At random times throughout the week I'll get severe headaches.
These side effects are really starting to bother me but I'm wondering if this is just me getting used to the hormones...? I was on the pill before and didn't have these side effects. Will these side effects persist and continue for the rest of the time I have this implant in?
