Ex girlfriend's photos?

My husband has a photo album with pictures of him with his ex girlfriend from college, even though the album is not hidden It's upsetting to me that he has it. Apparently they only broke up because they had to go separate ways after graduating college, so no bad feelings between them. How should I let him know that it upsets me without getting into a fight.

Sit down with him when you're calm and not too upset so you can calmly explain to him what bothers you and why, while not accusing or blaming him so he doesn't feel like he's not trusted or being attacked. 
When I have something that bothers me I wait until I'm calm to talk about it while trying to get my point across and view without sounding like I'm blaming him for something or accusing him of something and try to stress I trust him and if I come off like I don't or that if I come off like I'm blaming him for something, I sincerely don't mean to. Then ask him his view point and ask why he has the photos and tell him when you're done that him having those photos bothers you, and you know they ended on good terms but could he remove them from his phone because even though you trust him, it makes you uneasy. Come to a compromise if you have to, to where both people are happy/Satisfied with the outcome.

He married you though . Is that not enough alone to solidify that he is where he wants to be ? I understand your issue , but you're really being deep about something that isn't relevant .

He loved before you, not to say he still loves her but they ended on good terms so there was no need for him to rid himself of those good memories. He's with you and he loves you, find your security in that.

My question is what is his reason for keeping them? My husband would have to get rid of it. If it means nothing then it's not a problem to get rid of the pictures. I don't think it's a matter of jealousy, I think it's about respect for the wife.

I have pics with my exs my so says they are memories and would never make me get rid of pics unless I wanted too. So ft o me they are just memories

I have an envelope filled with every single letter my Ex wrote me while he was in prison.  We only seperated because it was time to go different ways.
