Has anyone tried Acupuncture and did it help?

A friend of mind just told me a couple girls she knows that are having a hard time trying to conceive tried acupuncture along with IVF or IUI and it worked for them, they are both pregnant.   Anyone had an experience with this?  if so, how often did you go?  any luck?

I am starting it today. After 2 cancelled ivf's and 1 failed I really hope this helps. It starts from day 5 to day 21 along with follicular study to track ovulation. She also has supplements, diet and exercise. My fingers are crossed!

Yes and I Love it. We did IVF, I went to acupuncture for 3 months prior to the retrieval. I went the day before the transfer. I had a treatment right before the transfer and 10 minutes after. I had treatments during the TWW. After I had a positive pregnancy test I continued with treatment. I have a session this Saturday. I am addicted to the calm feeling and peaceful mind after the treatment. It's a great stress reliever.

I have been doing it for about a month because I heard it helps. I like it so far and it's great to have someone to talk to every week through the TTC journey. It's also relaxing and helps me distress! No BFP but I am not losing faith!

I asked my infertility dr about this at my last appointment. He said "I don't understand why, but it works!"

I started seeing an acupuncturist who specializes in infertility last week!  Fingers crossed!  We have been ttc for almost 2 years....

I did acupuncture for 5 weeks leading up to our IUI and one the day before and the day after and I'm 6 weeks pregnant today. I would say it works! I read a study that it increases the chances by 30% so I think it's totally worth it and my RE was totally for it! She even had a recommendation! So go for it!!

I love Accupuncture and have been doing it for a couple of years now. It provides me with a great amount of stress relief. If it helps me with infertility issues as well then that's a great bonus!!!  I scheduled treatments right around my IUI this month. We will see if it helps!
