Membrane sweep luck?!?!

I had a membrane sweep today at 39+3. It has me wondering if anyone has had any luck with having it done??

I'm having horrible back pains today after having mine done yesterday...also some contractions but haven't been timing them. Hoping this is a step in the right direction.

Yes, I went into labor 4 hours after having mine. It doesn't work unless baby is ready though.

I'm 39+1 and had mine done today. My doctor said its not as affective if it's your first baby, which it is mine but I tried it anyways. Just cramps and bad back aches so far! Hopefully it works for us! Good luck :)

Had two during my last pregnancy due to BP problems. One at 37 and one at 38 no luck was induced at 39 weeks. Good luck to both of you, I've heard from others they feel as though it helped.
