I'm 37 weeks, 4 days today and yesterday my doctor told me I am 1 cm dilated. She said my cervix was soft but high. Any idea what that means? Also, she plans to strip my membranes next week because baby is already 8.5 lbs with 2.5 weeks to go. My last pregnancy, my son was 10.2 lbs and even though my membranes were stripped, I was induced at 41 weeks. Did stripping membranes work for anyone else?
