What does a baby's kick feel like????

I'm a ftm so I'm unsure what it feels like to actually have the baby kick. I'm 17 weeks and I think I might have felt a little kick but I'm not sure. How can I tell the difference between the baby moving and normal body functions? Help me out ladies thank you ☺️

First it felt like a big eye lash blinking on the inside of my belly. Then it felt like a muscle twitch!

When you were a little girl, did you ever hold a frog or a minnow in your closed hand? Tiny little wiggle as it tried to escape lol. At least that's what those early feelings reminded me of(but I was a bit further along). Don't worry, the time will come when you feel very strong kicks and rolls!

Felt like muscle twitches at 17 weeks, then I was feeling quick pokes.....so I watched my tummy and sure enough I saw the little thumps going on.

I was 16 weeks the first time and felt it. I kinda just knew lol it felt like someone lightly touching the inside of my lower belly if that makes sense or a bird was flapping wings in there lol sometimes it was more of a poke tho. I could feel it more if I was laying in my belly which is why I knew.

I'm 19+1 now and I started feeling them about 15 and a half weeks. I actually just commented on another post, and the best way I could describe it is it feels like a muscle twitching, but in your uterus haha. I don't think it feels like gas at all!

Usually first time mom's start feeling "noticeable" movement at 18 weeks and forward so you could have felt baby but it's so hard to tell it's the baby especially since this is your first. Sometimes it can feel like a thumping, stomach flipping, or little pokes that sometimes people say feels like butterflies bumping around in your tummy. Once you feel a real kick further along it will feel like someone poking you in the tummy from the inside.

I was the same. But it's kind of like... You'll just KNOW when it's a kick. I started feeling slight muscle twitch feelings in my belly the started to get very frequent. Now I feel thumps, and rolling :) things will get stronger over time. They're so strong now, that they scare me sometimes.
