Literally I can skip a month i understand I've had my period for about 6 years now

You might have PCOS. My periods used to be normal then slowly the we're farther and farther apart. Used to be ever month to 45 days then every 64 days. Now most recently it's been 87 days! I recommend seeing your doc sooner rather than later to fix it.
